I’m happy to share the news that I will be participating in an intensive, three-day certification course on CEASE Therapy offered in Toronto June 22-24, 2012. This is the first CEASE Therapy course held in Canada. It is for advanced homeopathic practitioners.
I really look forward to gaining more knowledge and proficiency in this promising method. I am already seeing some good results in my practice. The education assitant of one of my young autistic patients, a ten-year-old, high functioning boy, noticed much better attention, better co-operation and reduced stimming after only a month of treatment. She has been working with this boy for 1.5 years and did not know that he was being treated by me.
We first did an MMR detox with no noticeable changes, then we did the DTaPIPV (Five-in-one), with noticable improvements. He was so much calmer in my office, too. There had been a fairly dramatic increase in his eczema, which was troubling the mother. I warned the parents not to use any steroid creams on it, as this was an expected healing reaction. If, in a case like this, steroids were being used to suppress the eczema, it is almost guaranteed that the autistic symptoms would recur.
